Do you ever, sometimes, look up from your busy life and wonder how in the world time went by so fast? How did this moment arrive so quickly?

The Dali Lama tells us, “You are so anxious about the future that you do not enjoy the present. You therefore do not live in the present or the future. You live as if you are never going to die, and then die having never really lived.” 

The challenge we have is to gift ourselves the present of presence. As we move through all the glitter and gold this season, may we continue to be present in the here and now. To be fully alive and fully grateful within this very moment. 

Thich Nhat Hanh reminds us “Nothing is more precious than being in the present moment. Fully alive, fully aware.”
